Yehuda received a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University in Speech, Language, and Learning and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Yehuda has professional experience working with clients throughout the life span in private practice and school settings. He has treated communication disorders including voice, articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, and more.

Yehuda was initially drawn to the field of speech-language pathology during his studies in singing and voice science. Through his training under renowned voice teachers and attending voice symposia he improved his singing technique and developed a deep understanding of how the voice works. These studies ultimately led Yehuda to learn about voice disorders and, a newfound passion, the field of speech-language pathology. Yehuda finds it gratifying to observe the moment a client reaches a goal. Yehuda enjoys being part of a client’s journey to learn these skills, whether it be with voice, articulation, language, or other communication disorders.

In graduate school, the Northwestern faculty recognized Yehuda as an outstanding student and therapist by selecting him to receive the prestigious Kenneth R. and Grace S. Rearwin Academic Scholarship and inviting him to give the valedictorian address. Additionally, Yehuda received Rabbinic Ordination in 2013.

Yehuda is a husband and father of three. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, singing, golfing, and teaching voice lessons.

Approach

Yehuda provides therapy with the latest evidence-based strategies and with a “wholistic” approach. Meaning, therapy is designed with the “whole you” in mind. Yehuda takes the time to learn about you and your communication skills. Who are you? What are your needs? What are your strengths? What are your interests? This outlook yields more meaningful therapy, where you can improve relevant, real life skills.

Yehuda views each client as capable, regardless of their diagnoses or severity. In his clinical experience, Yehuda has found that clients are often more successful when they feel comfortable and are spoken to in an encouraging, personable, and optimistic way. People feed off of this positivity and can even achieve greater success than they initially thought.

Yehuda provides convenient in-home, in-school, and teletherapy sessions.
